Casa Mia began with Khun Saow’s belief that Thai and Italian food belong at the same table when both are cooked with skill and care.

Khun Saow has called Koh Chang home for 30 years. She spent several years in Italy learning classic dishes, trusted techniques, and the rhythm of an Italian kitchen. At Casa Mia, she pairs that training with the Thai cooking she learned at home. The result is a menu that respects both traditions and brings them together with ease.
Business partner since August 2026
Captain Mike joined Saow as a business partner in August 2026. A long-time restaurateur and loyal Casa Mia regular, he knew what made the restaurant special and chose to help carry it forward. His sons, Leonardo and Rafael, bring their Thai and Western roots to the dining room, welcoming guests and taking care of them as they always have.
